Information We Process

Depending on how you use Xylon, we may process the following categories of information:

• Profile information such as your display name, avatar, and bio.
• Photos, portraits, reference images, and videos you choose to upload, capture, publish, edit, analyze, or export.
• Face data that is visible in photos submitted to AI Beauty features, such as facial contours, visible skin condition details, makeup reference details, and feature settings required to create the requested output.
• Content you create in the community, including posts, captions, comments, likes, follow activity, and related interactions.
• Beauty tool inputs and outputs, including prompts and generated or edited image results.
• Skin analysis submissions and the analysis results returned through the feature.
• Purchase-related information such as product identifiers, transaction status, and digital credit updates.
• Communications you send to us when you request help, submit feedback, or contact support.
• Safety-related information when users report content, report accounts, or use blocking tools.

How We Use Information

We may use information to operate, maintain, and improve Xylon and its features. This includes:

• Providing AI Beauty functions such as virtual makeup, reference makeup, beauty retouch, and skin analysis.
• Displaying your profile, posts, comments, likes, follows, and related community activity.
• Processing purchases and applying digital credits or feature access connected to your account.
• Responding to questions, resolving issues, and supporting account or content-related requests.
• Protecting the service, enforcing our rules, addressing abuse, and handling reports or moderation concerns.
• Improving reliability, usability, and safety across the app experience.

Face Data We Collect for AI Beauty

When you use AI Beauty tools, Xylon may process only the face-related data needed to complete the feature that you request.

• The face photo you upload from Photos or capture with Camera for Virtual Makeup, Beauty Retouch, or Skin Analysis.
• The target face photo and the reference makeup face photo that you submit for Reference Makeup.
• Visible facial contours, facial features, makeup placement details, and visible skin-condition details that appear in the submitted image and are needed to create the requested output.
• The colors, prompts, sliders, and other beauty settings that you choose for the request.
• The generated beauty result or cosmetic skin analysis returned for the request.

Xylon does not collect or create a face-recognition database, does not use face data to identify who you are, and does not use face data for identity verification, advertising profiles, or sale.

How We Use Face Data

Xylon uses face data only to perform the AI Beauty feature that you choose and to return the result to you.

• Virtual Makeup uses the submitted face photo and chosen makeup settings to generate a makeup-preview result.
• Beauty Retouch uses the submitted face photo and chosen enhancement settings to generate an edited result.
• Reference Makeup uses the submitted target face photo and reference makeup photo to generate a reference-transfer result.
• Skin Analysis uses the submitted face photo to return a cosmetic skin readout inside the app.

Community Visibility

If you participate in the community, certain information may be visible to other users, including your display name, avatar, posts, captions, comments, likes, and follow relationships. Please consider this when deciding what to share.

Permissions

Xylon may request access to device capabilities that are relevant to the features you choose to use. These may include your camera, photo library, microphone, and permission to save images or videos. If you do not grant a permission, some features may not function as intended.

Face Data Sharing and Where It Is Stored

If you submit an AI Beauty request, the selected face photo, reference image, visible face-related details in those images, and selected settings may be transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to the AI service used to complete the request. In this build, the AI service used for image generation and image analysis requests is Alibaba Cloud DashScope. Xylon does not sell face data and does not share face data with advertisers or data brokers.

• Xylon does not keep an additional server-side copy of submitted face data on Xylon-operated servers for these AI Beauty requests.
• For Virtual Makeup, Beauty Retouch, and Reference Makeup, the app may store the submitted input image, reference image if applicable, and generated result in local app history on the user’s device.
• For Skin Analysis, the submitted face photo is processed for the live request and is not added to a persistent local history list by Xylon.

Xylon requires AI services and service providers that process face data for Xylon to use that data only to complete the requested feature and to protect it with the same or equivalent privacy and security protections.

Face Data Retention and Deletion

Xylon applies the following retention rules to face data used by AI Beauty features:

• Virtual Makeup, Beauty Retouch, and Reference Makeup history stored by the app remains on the user’s device until the user deletes the saved history record or deletes the app.
• Skin Analysis photos are not stored in local app history and are discarded after the active processing request finishes in the app session.
• Xylon does not retain an additional server-side copy of submitted face data for these features on Xylon-operated servers.

You can stop future face-data processing at any time by not using AI Beauty features. You can delete locally stored face-data history inside the feature history pages or by deleting the app. You may also contact support@Xylon.com for privacy-related requests.

Before the first use of an AI Beauty feature, Xylon presents an in-app face-data notice with links to this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions. You can decline and avoid using the feature.

How Information May Be Shared

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With service providers that support AI processing, media handling, payments, support operations, security, or service delivery.
• With Alibaba Cloud DashScope when you choose to submit an AI Beauty or Skin Analysis request that needs AI service processing.
• With other users when you publish content or engage in visible community activity.
• With app marketplace or payment providers when needed to process or verify in-app purchases.
• When required for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.
• As part of a business transaction involving a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of assets.

Retention and Account Controls

We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Xylon, support community features, maintain records, process purchases, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal or operational obligations.

You may update certain profile information within the app. You may also remove content where controls are available and request account deletion through the app. When an account deletion request is completed, associated account information and saved results linked to that account flow may be removed from the Xylon experience.

For AI Beauty records stored locally by the app, you can delete saved beauty history items inside the relevant history screen.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of storage, transmission, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you should use Xylon with that understanding.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by the relevant app marketplace or payment provider, and their own terms and privacy practices also apply. Xylon may receive transaction-related information needed to confirm purchase status and update digital credits or access tied to your use of the app.

Skin analysis in Xylon is intended for beauty, cosmetic, and informational use. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
